One of the most exclusive shopping center Unimart has officially launched its Dhanmondi branch. The previous campus of United International University in Dhanmondi has turned into an all day shopping spree with the introduction of Unimart in this area. It is well known for carrying all sorts of things ranging from groceries to electronics and even clothing and shoes. The Dhanmondi branch is said to be one of the most spacious markets in a 4-storied building with each spacious floor featuring a different shopping sector. People can find groceries in the first floor, personal grooming and electronics in the second floor and clothing and pet necessities in the third floor and so on. The fourth floor will introduce one of the largest food courts in Dhaka by the end of March.
Even if Unimart has its perks, the prices of commodities is a little high there (as in too expensive) not only since you can find varieties of foreign brands from there, but also because their daily groceries are exported from the highest quality with less impurity (according to the authorities). So by judging the costs, most of the people would prefer the nearest grocery store with adequate and affordable pricing of daily accomodities.
But what are your thoughts on this? Should we give Unimart a go or skip it all together?
