Scientific Report: Ugly People More Likely To Lock Facebook Profiles

Facebook has recently launched a feature to protect individual privacy from other non-connected actors – the feature is known as ‘locked profiles’, You’ve probably encountered it as you have probably received friend requests from random people with locked profiles.

This put up much controversy over social media, compelling the South Asian Research Institute to collaborate with students of North South University to research on “Who are the people the most likely to put locked profiles”3 Months into the research, having conducted multiple surveys and questionnaires.

They discovered that the real cause is human insecurity, to be more specific – Ugly People. While this might be annoying, 14AGAIN would like to congratulate the Facebook Team for accommodating Ugly People.
